Welcome to the Beginner Level of the Ring Muscle Up Program at TSF Training! We're excited to kickstart your journey toward mastering this impressive movement. Whether you're new to the rings or looking to refine your technique, this program will provide you with the foundational skills needed to progress with confidence. WIth easy to follow video demonstrations you will be hitting your goal in no time!

 

In this beginner level, we focus on building strength, stability, and body awareness through a series of essential exercises designed to set you up for success:

  • Ring Support Hold: Master the foundation of ring stability and control, developing the necessary strength for advanced ring movements.

  • False Grip Bent Arm Hang: Learn the crucial false grip technique, positioning your wrists above the rings to ensure a smooth transition during the muscle up.

  • Tuck Hollow Body Hold: Strengthen your core with the hollow body position, essential for maintaining stability throughout the muscle up.

  • Arch Body Hold: Balance your hollow body work with the arch body hold, focusing on posterior chain strength and body awareness.

  • Ring Pull Up: Build the pulling strength in your back and arms while improving ring stability, a key component of the muscle up.

  • Ring Push Up: Develop pushing strength in your chest, shoulders, and triceps, while engaging your stabilizing muscles for better balance and control.

  • Shoulder Extension Stretch: Enhance your shoulder flexibility, improving your range of motion and reducing the risk of injury during the muscle up.
